The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has invited online applications for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 for Primary Level (Classes I–V) and Upper Primary/Junior Level (Classes VI–VIII). Eligible candidates can submit their online application from 14 July 2026 to 03 August 2026 through the official portal. Primary Level
Code 01:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and should have completed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC).
Code 02:
Applicants with 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible if they have completed or are appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the applicable NCTE Regulations.
Code 03:
Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 (Senior Secondary) and have passed or are appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) can apply.
Code 04:
Applicants with 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and who have completed or are appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Special Education are eligible.
Code 05:
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) along with a completed or final-year 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC) are eligible.
Code 06:
Shiksha Mitra candidates who have successfully completed the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from IGNOU are also eligible to apply.
Additional Eligibility:
In-service teachers teaching Classes I to V are also eligible, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

Junior Level
Code 01:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and should have completed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC).
Code 02:
Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) securing at least 50% marks and who have completed or are appearing in the final year of B.Ed., L.T., or Shiksha Shastri (Regular) are eligible.
Code 03:
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks and pursuing or having completed B.Ed., L.T., or Shiksha Shastri (Regular), as per the applicable NCTE Regulations, can apply.
Code 04:
Applicants who have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and are in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) are eligible.
Code 05:
Candidates with 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent and at least 50% marks, who have completed or are appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A.Ed., B.Sc.Ed., B.A./B.Sc. Ed. Integrated Programme, are eligible.
Code 06:
Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and at least 50% marks, along with a completed or final-year B.Ed. (Special Education), are eligible.
Code 07:
Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation and have completed or are appearing in the final year of B.Ed. are eligible. However, the minimum graduation percentage requirement does not apply to candidates who were admitted to **B.Ed., B.El.Ed., or an equivalent teacher education programme before 29 July 2011, as per the applicable NCTE provisions.
