  • Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects from a recognized board or institution.

NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Code Details
Code 01:
Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) examination in 2026 and are awaiting their results can apply for NEET UG 2026. However, admission will be granted only if they successfully pass the qualifying examination with the required marks before the counseling process begins.Code 02:
Applicants who have completed the Higher Secondary, Senior Secondary, or equivalent 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English, and any additional elective subject are eligible under this code.

Code 03:
Candidates who have passed an Intermediate or Pre-Degree Science examination from a recognized university, board, or educational institution with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects can apply under this category.

Code 04:
Students who have qualified a Pre-Medical or Pre-Professional examination after completing Higher Secondary, Pre-University, or an equivalent course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English are eligible under this code.

Code 05:
Candidates who have successfully completed the first year of a recognized university degree program with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, including practical components, and who also meet the previous qualifying examination requirements may apply under this code.

Code 06:
Applicants holding a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with at least two of the following subjects—Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, or Biotechnology—and who have also studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in their qualifying examination are eligible.

Code 07:
Candidates who have passed any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Indian Intermediate Science Examination, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English, and practical training in the science subjects, may apply under this eligibility code.

NEET UG 2026 Important Guidelines
  • Candidates are advised to keep a valid Aadhaar Card and other required identification documents ready while completing the application process and appearing for the examination.
