Form apply karne se pehle candidates ko official information bulletin dhyan se padhna chahiye, jisme exam se judi saari details jaise syllabus, eligibility rules, age limit, application fee aur Paper 1 (Primary Level) aur Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level) ki jankari di hoti hai. CTET ek national level eligibility test hai, jiske through candidates ko Class 1 se 8 tak teaching ke liye qualification milti hai.

CTET September 2026 Eligibility Criteria & Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility Code – September 2026
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and should have completed or be appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (any recognized name).
OR, Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with minimum 45% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE Regulations 2002.
OR, Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and should have passed or be appearing in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR, Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and completed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI–VIII) Eligibility Code – September 2026
Candidates should have a Graduation degree and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
OR, Graduation with at least 50% marks (or Post-Graduation) and must have completed or be appearing in B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
OR, Graduation with minimum 45% marks along with B.Ed., as per NCTE regulations.
OR, Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year B.El.Ed. programme.
OR, Senior Secondary with 50% marks and enrolled in 4-year integrated B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed course.
OR, Graduation with at least 50% marks and completed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
Candidates who have completed a B.Ed. programme recognized by NCTE are also eligible to appear in CTET/TET as per official guidelines.
Candidates pursuing any teacher education course recognized by NCTE or RCI (as per rules issued on 23 August 2010 notification) are also eligible to apply.
Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks and enrolled in a 3-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed programme are also eligible.
