UPTET 2026 Educational Qualification for Class 1-5 and Class 6-8 Teachers

UPTET 2026 Exam Languages: Hindi, English, Urdu, and Sanskrit.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline along with a passed or appearing D.El.Ed. (Final Year).
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or a Master’s Degree in any subject along with a B.Ed. degree (passed or appearing).
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks or a Master’s Degree along with a B.Ed. degree (passed or appearing), as per applicable NCTE guidelines.
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with a minimum of 50% marks and completed or pursuing a 4-year B.El.Ed. program.

• The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has invited online applications for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications from 27 March 2026 to 03 May 2026.
